The Wild Bunch show us their stuff.

The Non-Athletes in Action, this years winners.

The In(let)credibles pose for the camera.

Kara, Shari and Pam volunteer at the registration table.

Laura and Lee of fill out their pre-event paperwork.

The Superstars pause for some refreshments.

Ramon volunteers at the refreshment stand.
Food was free for everyone.

Some spectators check out the silent auction
and raffle prizez.

The participants warm up with a TaikoFit drumming
session by BodyBeyond.

There's nothing like beating on a drum to get fired-up
and ready to go.

Laura fearlessly faces the Potato Sack Race.

It's all in the technique with the Bucket-Filling Contest.

Participants dart back and forth with a wet
sponge to fill a bucket 20 feet away.

The In(let)credibles look confident as
they prepare for Bocce Ball.

The Non-Athletes in Action show off their
skill at Bocce Ball.

Julia, the event organizer (right), takes a break
with a friend.

The teams get each other wet in the
Water Balloon Toss. The distance increases
with each successful catch.

Who can resist the temptation of a bucket
full of waterballoons? The volunteers have
a bit of fun between games.

Lee kicks a ball between pylons in
the Obstacle Course.

Dee jumps over milk crates, another
Obstacle Course challenge

Lenore of the CISS Board Team takes a whirl at the
hoola-hoop in the Obstacle Course.

The Friends of Julia Team tie-up for
the Three-Legged Race.

Glenn, our Executive Director, takes a water
balloon in the back with good humour.

Thank you to our sponsors for contributing
to a wonderful day!

Participants try to memorize the items
under the blanket with a 3-second glance
in the Memory Game.

As testimony to the participants' skill,
only one egg broke during the
Egg-in-the-Spoon Race.

Melanie runs while holding up an extra
pair of pants in the Egg-in-the-Spoon Race.

Carolyn tosses the football at a milk crate
from about 10 feet away.

Getting the football in the milk crate is difficult as the
football tends to bounce out.

With the games all wrapped-up, Shari and Pam prepare
the awards and prizes.

Julia hands out the prizes and announces
the raffle and silent auction winners.

Many of the participants walked away with
some great prizes.

The Superstars show their festive side.

Team spirit is what The Ultimate Sports Day is all about.

Nothing is complete without the paperwork.
Patricia and Sue of the CISS Board Team and Glenn
go over some post-event forms.

All were delighted when the Tim Hortons Community
Cruiser made an appearance and handed out
free coffee and timbits.

After the event, with all the work done, Julia and
the volunteers engage in a waterfight.

Our volunteers definitely added to the fun at this
year's Ultimate Sports Day. Thanks to you all!
